We are thrilled to introduce our Employee of the Month and Employee of the Year programs – designed to celebrate the incredible talent, dedication, and positive impact of our team members. These initiatives are more than just awards; they’re a powerful way to elevate employee morale, reinforce our company values, and create a culture of continuous excellence.
By recognizing and rewarding outstanding performance and contributions, we’re not only showing appreciation but also fostering an environment where top performers are inspired to keep reaching new heights. It’s all about creating a workplace where everyone feels valued, motivated, and empowered to excel.

Submit NominationSELECTION PROCESS
Managers and above are invited to submit their nominations by the specified due date. Please note that late submissions cannot be accepted. A dedicated review committee will carefully evaluate all nominations based on the established criteria. The selected employee will be recognized with a special reward, and the exciting announcement will be made shortly after. Please remember, all decisions are final.
Who is eligible?

All hourly team leads and associates.

Employed for at least three months.

No verbal/written warnings in the last three months.
What do they get?

Employee of the Month Certificate.

Public recognition through our internal newsletter and social media post*.

Choose one company swag item from the company LandsEnd store, up to $50.

Lunch provided by the company.
Who is eligible?

All full-time hourly team leads and associates.

Must have been awarded Employee of the Month in the same calendar year.

Employed for at one year.

No verbal/written warnings in the last year.

Employee can only be selected as Employee of the Year once every two years.
What do they get?

Employee of the Year Certificate.

Lunch with manager and executive team.

A one-time $500.00 bonus.
Frequently Asked Questions
This is a companywide initiative established in 2025, to acknowledge and reward employees for their outstanding performance and contributions. Employees can be recognized for their performance, attitude, initiative, and customer service, and more! By implementing this program, we aim to create a culture of recognition, motivation, and continuous improvement.
Note: This program may be modified or suspended at any time at the discretion of the company.
The following teams/business units were strategically selected to be part of our employee recognition program, as other teams/business units not listed may have their own awards available.
- EHCS:
- GEM Edwards Pharmacy
- GEMCO: Customer Service Only
- GEMCORE
GemCare Wellness, GEMCO Medical sales, and GEMCO Medical warehouse employees are not included as they have their own recognition program.
Employee of the month requirements:
- All hourly team leads and associates.
- Must have been employed for at least three (3) months.
- Must not have any verbal or written warnings in the last three (3) months.
Employee of the year:
- All full-time hourly team leads and associates.
- Must have been employed for at least one year.
- Must not have any verbal or written warnings in the last year.
- Must have been awarded Employee of the Month in the same calendar year.
- Employees can only be selected as Employee of the Year once every two years.
Nominations can be submitted by any manager or above, within the same business unit, by the monthly submission due date. Nominations should include specific examples of the employee’s outstanding performance and contributions. Any late submissions will not be considered.

Employee can be considered for Employee of the Month/Year based on:
- Performance: Consistent high-quality work, exceeding expectations, and meeting or exceeding performance goals.
- Attitude: Positive attitude, teamwork, and willingness to help others.
- Initiative: Proactive problem-solving, suggesting improvements, and taking on additional responsibilities.
- Customer Service: Exceptional customer service, going above and beyond to meet customer needs.
A review committee, made up of HR and executive leadership, will evaluate all nominations based on established selection criteria.
Each month, the committee will select one Employee of the Month. A yearly calendar will be created, outlining submission deadlines and announcement dates for each month’s award. The committee’s decision is final and not subject to appeal.
Employees who have been selected as Employee of the Month during the calendar year will be eligible for the Employee of the Year award, provided they meet all applicable criteria.
The same review committee, consisting of HR and executive leadership, will review all nominations for Employee of the Year. The committee will assess each nomination based on the established selection criteria.
